Arsenal will not struggle in the absence of Mesut Ozil, according to Jack Wilshere.
The German World Cup winner injured his knee ligament in the defeat to Chelsea and faces around 12 weeks on the sidelines.
But despite the injuries piling up, Wilshere thinks the side will be ok.
“Mesut was playing on the left a bit so it probably won’t change much in the centre. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will get a chance, Theo Walcott is coming back as well,” he said.
“But we are devastated for Mesut because he can play in that No10 role. We have seen what he can do there, although we have players who can come in.
“It’s tough to take but it is part and parcel of football. I have had my fair few injuries. It is not a curse. It happens and you just have to deal with it.
“He has never really had an injury – he had a slight one last season – so it will be difficult for him. But he is naturally quite a fit lad so he will be alright.”
